Shaquille O’Neal may head back to the Los Angeles Lakers
The epiphany that might be running in Shaquille O’Neal’s head is that he might need to go back to the Los Angeles Lakers to get another NBA Championship ring. With the statements that Phoenix Suns manager Steve Kerr has released, now would be a great time for Shaq to think about his options and how to finish his career. The NBA trading deadline would cause more than a similar blockbuster trade comparable to last year’s mega deal containing the Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns.
Shaquille O’Neal stated that he has not thrown the idea out the window yet and he is still looking forward to a Laker uniform once his contract expires in 2010, which is the year that free agency marks an all time high in NBA history containing marquee players that

Allen Iverson on his way out of Detroit?
Seems it was so long ago when the Detroit Pistons had their fast start to the 2008-09 NBA basketball season, leading the Eastern Conference and looked like another trip to the conference finals imminent.
Then BANG, Detroit Pistons general manager Joe Dumars decided to fix something that ain’t broke in the first place, sending Chauncey Billups and Antonio McDyess to Denver in exchange for Allen Iverson, the guy Dumars was hoping to finally be able to get the Pistons past the conference finals and back in the championship series.
42 games later, the Detroit Pistons are still nowhere near that goal. Hell, they are 21-21 with Allen Iverson and with the rate they are going, they might not even get to the conference finals, thus breaking their streak of six straight years of playing for the Eastern Conference title.
Kurt Warner to retire after losing the Super Bowl?
Is Kurt Warner on his way out? Well, he's been thinking about it.
The 37-year-old Kurt Warner has been contemplating on calling it quits even after the Arizona Cardinals lost Super Bowl XLIII. It all began after watching his teammate Anquan Boldin go down with a concussion in the closing moments of an already lost game to the Jets back in the regular season. Warner said then that he’s considering retirement more than ever.
‘’I'm definitely considering retirement more than I ever have before,'’ Kurt Warner said, ‘’but that doesn’t mean it’s more than 50 percent or anything like that. I’m just going to consider it.'’
