You read it, and since they were friends before the race fixing scandal in Singapore broke out, you can bet your ass they ain’t friends no more.
It turns out that Bernie Ecclestone’s friendship with Flavio Briatore has suffered in the wake of the race-fixing scandal that transpired last year in Singapore. This is definitely something any F1 team can’t have coming to the 2009 F1 Singapore Grand Prix this Sunday but as far as Renault is concerned, they can’t do a damn thing about it.

New York Mets to leave baseball after this season?
With the kind of season they've been having, I won't be surprised if the Mets quit the MLB.
The Mets are not the worst team in baseball. They are not even the most incompetently run franchise in their own division. Yet, their campaign this 2009 MLB baseball season may have forever redefined the concept of losing.
Nothing has gone right for the poor New York Mets in this calendar year. From the ownership down to the bat boys, the entire organization has been beset by financial issues, management missteps, injuries, errors, poor timing, and just plain bad luck. Every week seemed to bring a new crisis or terrible disaster and through it all, they constantly found inventive and entertaining ways to squander victory. And there’s still a month left!

Yep, the king’s return to boxing is now official as Floyd Mayweather Jr. returns to the ring with an undefeated streak no one has been close to stopping.
Matt Leinart to finally become the Cardinals starting QB?

Now going into his fourth campaign in the NFL as a member of the Arizona Cardinals in the coming 2009 NFL football season, quarterback Matt Leinart has found himself no closer to the starting spot than he did on that fateful April 2006 day when the Cardinals took the best remaining player in the draft at number 10.
He had the starting spot for five games in 2007 before he got injured. The Arizona Cardinals eventually named Leinart the starter before the 2008 training camp got started, only to lose it to Kurt Warner halfway through camp.

Erin Andrews talked to Oprah about Scandal
Erin Andrews finally broke her silence.
And yes, some people are still looking for the now infamous Erin Andrews nude peephole video on the Internet. And while Ms. Andrews is no longer the hottest bit of news on the web these days, (probably because of Brett Favre AND Michael Vick both making their way back to the NFL…) she found a way to still be relevant by talking to the queen of the talk shows, Oprah.
Yes, ESPN reporter Erin Andrews was on the Oprah Winfrey show talking about the secretly videotaped nude footage of her which was distributed on the Internet. Winfrey’s interview with Andrews will air Friday, Sept.11, as part of a ”Summer Headlines” show that previews the 24th season of ”The Oprah Winfrey Show.”
