Is Pacquiao afraid of Mayweather?
December 28, 2009
He’s on steroids and he’s refusing to undergo drug testing to save himself from the ass-kicking he’ll get from Mayweather.
In case you didn’t know, the anticipated Manny Pacquiao – Floyd Mayweather fight is in serious jeopardy, thanks to Pacquiao’s refusal to submit himself to the Olympic – style drug testing Mayweather proposed.
The reigning pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. wants to give the fans the fight of the decade and in order for them to have that, he wants himself and Manny Pacquiao to undergo drug testing to finally wipe the slate clean of any controversies both fighters may have with performance enhancing drugs.
It was Floyd Mayweather Sr. who accused Manny Pacquiao of using human growth hormones (HGH) to gain an advantage in his fights inside the ring. And although Mayweather Jr. hasn’t accused Pacquiao of anything yet, Pacquiao’s refusal to undergo drug testing really raises some questions.
If Pacquiao doesn’t have anything to hide, then why refuse to submit to drug testing?
‘’C’mon. It’s only a little bit of blood. If you have nothing to hide, then do the test,’’ Oscar De La Hoya said.
‘’If Pacquiao, the toughest guy on the planet, is afraid of needles and having a few tablespoons of blood drawn from his system, then something is wrong. The guy has tattoos everywhere; he’s tattooed from top to bottom. You’re telling me he’s afraid of needles?’’
Pacquiao says the urine test being conducted by the Nevada State Athletic Commission is more than enough to determine if he is drug-free or not, but De La Hoya says it is not so.
‘’And the idea that urine tests can detect HGH is wrong. I talked to Travis Tygart, CEO of the USADA. He testified before Congress that anyone who says HGH can be detected by a urine test is mistaken. It can only be detected by a blood test.’’
That’s the REAL SCORE. Manny Pacquiao is on steroids and the only reason he’s refusing to undergo drug testing is because he doesn’t want to be humiliated from the ass-kicking he’ll get from Floyd Mayweather Jr.
