Is Anderson Silva losing his edge?
The Spider will be in action again.
For the first time in history of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, MMA athletes will slug it out in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, on April 10 as UFC 112: Invincible features middleweight title holder Anderson ”The Spider” Silva facing off against Demian Maia.
Middleweight champion Anderson Silva is 25-4 with 19 wins by TKO. He is a striker and has a dangerous jiu jitsu game. He is arguably the best fighter on the planet and has the resume to prove it. Silva is a perfect 10-0 in the UFC, including a successful title defense over Thales Leites last April before again moving up to 205 pounds to beat Forrest Griffin in August.

Will Brett Favre retire?
Football fans from Minnesota and probably some from New York and Green Bay, are all wondering if Brett Favre will give it another go for the coming 2010 NFL football season or just retire. (Yep, we did the exact same thing last year, and the year before that…)
Performing in stellar fashion all season, Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings looked primed, even destined for a Super Bowl win. But, as has happened in the past, Flingin’ Favre sent another pass into the defense’s arms to end what had all the earmarks of a magical Super Bowl run.
While his season is over, Favre’s offseason and the debate and speculation regarding ‘will he’ or ‘won’t he’ retire
Brock Lesnar to return to the UFC?
Good. That means all that weight Frank Mir put on won’t be for nothing after all.
That’s also good news for UFC fans who thought they’ve seen the last of Brock Lesnar in the UFC after only four fights inside the Octagon.
And in case you didn’t get that yet, Brock Lesnar is good to go this year after being sidelined by what was first believed to be mono, but later revealed to be an intestinal disorder, diverticulitis.
According to his head trainer Greg Nelson, Lesnar will be definitely back. ”Brock Lesnar is definitely coming back to fight,” Nelson said. ”And he’s just kind of coming up slowly, training, trying to get his body ready and being smart with his
Georges St-Pierre retiring from the UFC?
Arguably one of the best fighters to ever enter the Octagon, GSP is rumored to walk away from the UFC to prepare for the Olympics.
You read it, Georges St-Pierre, scheduled to co-main event UFC 111 on March, is rumored to walk away from the UFC to train and represent Canada at the 2012 Olympics in freestyle wrestling.
But did the words ”I’m walking away from the UFC” really came out of the mouth of reigning UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre? Well, Randy Couture claims GSP didn’t say anything about walking away. In fact, Couture says St-Pierre is frustrated about the way the media took his comments about the POSSIBILITY of training for the 2012 Olympics out of context.
”I talked to
Kurt Warner to Retire too?
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner is still pondering about his retirement.
After his team suffered a 45 – 14 blowout versus the Super Bowl XLIV bound New Orleans Saints, Kurt Warner talked to his head coach and said he needs some time to think about his future.
I case you missed it, the 38-year-old Kurt Warner took a vicious hit in their divisional playoff game with the Saints and left the game briefly after throwing an interception. That probably convinced him to reevaluate his future with the Arizona Cardinals.
”I have some ideas in my head, but you want to get away from the season for a minute and make sure what you’re feeling stays that way. But I don’t think it will be
Will Brett Favre retire?
In what has now become an annual tradition in the NFL, football fans will once again wait for Favre’s decision on whether he’ll walk away from football and retire or if he’ll give it another shot once we crown another champion at Super Bowl XLIV.
For the fourth straight year, (or fifth… probably…) Brett Favre will talk to his family and decide if giving it another go next season is ”the right thing to do.” But as of this writing, Favre says his return for another campaign is ”highly unlikely.” And in case you were wondering, yes, you heard that one from him before.
”Just wondering if I can hold up, especially after a day like today,”
What is the real reason why Dan Henderson left the UFC?
Looks like we won’t get to play as Dan Henderson again in the coming UFC Undisputed 2010 eh? Yes, Hendo just inked a multi-fight deal with Strikeforce, leaving Dana White and the UFC for greener pastures.
But at 39 years old, how greener can these pastures still be for Dan Henderson? Really? As far as Henderson is concerned, it looks like he could care less, as long as he can stick it up to Dana White for giving Vitor Belfort a title shot.
Yes, apparently, that was the reason why Henderson left the UFC. After beating Michael Bisping to a bloody pulp in UFC 100, Henderson proved he is still one of the best fighters in the welterweight

Rampage Jackson returning to the UFC?
Talk about a short stint in Hollywood huh?
But seriously, Quinton Rampage Jackson is returning to the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) probably to pacify Rashad Evans and UFC president Dana White.
That’s right, Jackson stated in his website that he’s returning to the organization to finish out his UFC contract, though he gave no timetable for his potential return.
Jackson outlined a series of events that began with his signing with the UFC, carried on until his recent decision to play B.A. Baracus in a feature version of ”The A-Team,” and ended with a decision to walk away from MMA.
Jackson recently coached opposite Rashad Evans on the ”The Ultimate Fighter 10.” Team Rashad advanced seven of eight fighters past the first round, and both finalists
Dana White favoring Kimbo Slice?
Apparently, that’s what the rest of the UFC fans think.
In case you didn’t know, Kimbo Slice is a part of the Ultimate Fighter 10 and UFC president Dana White has already made it public that Kimbo will fight inside the Octagon no matter what happens in the show and despite the fact that Kimbo lost his first fight in it.
And since Kimbo Slice already lost to a fat-ass like Roy Nelson before Dana White made it public that he’s going to the UFC anyway, it is only normal for some people to think that Kimbo is getting some sort of ‘’special treatment” from the UFC president.
When White was asked if it was true, his reaction didn’t surprise me at all.
”That’s bullshit,” Dana White said speaking to the claim made by
Is Brock Lesnar done in the UFC?

That’s the word from UFC president Dana White.
The current UFC heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar, was suppose to headline this Saturday’s UFC 106 against Shane Carwin for the title. Instead, Lesnar suffered some sort of injury and White had to reschedule the title fight.
As it turns out, the injury to Brock Lesnar was more serious than previously reported. The UFC heavyweight champion is in a hospital in North Dakota and according to White, Lesnar is in rough shape and he’s not getting any better.
”He’s in rough shape, he’s in really bad shape,” UFC president Dana White stated after UFC 105 last Saturday. ”He is not well and he is not getting any better. He’s very, very sick and he’s going to be out for a
