Tim Tebow will be at Super Bowl XLIV?

You read it, we’ll see more of Tim Tebow soon.

In case you didn’t know, Tim Tebow will be in Super Bowl XLIV in Miami, Florida even before he officially gets drafted to the NFL.

Confused? Don’t be. It’s just about this little 30-second TV spot for Tim Tebow during the CBS broadcast of the Super Bowl. And since Florida will host the Super Bowl this year, you shouldn’t be surprised to see only one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever come from Florida in the state’s take on the NFL’s annual extravaganza.

The 30-second TV ad will feature the former Florida Gators quarterback and his mother Pam. Tebow and his mother will share one of their many personal family – affirming stories, one of which could be her decision to carry him to term despite a life-threatening pregnancy in the Philippines where she and her husband Bob were serving as Christian missionaries.

You read it, doctors advised Pam to have an abortion or risk a life-threatening pregnancy. Pam chose the latter and nine months later, she gave birth to Tim Tebow who later became a Heisman Trophy winner, a BCS national champion and one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play college football.

The TV ad is produced by the Colorado Springs – based ministry, Focus on the Family.

Kurt Warner to Retire too?

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner is still pondering about his retirement.

After his team suffered a 45 – 14 blowout versus the Super Bowl XLIV bound New Orleans Saints, Kurt Warner talked to his head coach and said he needs some time to think about his future.

I case you missed it, the 38-year-old Kurt Warner took a vicious hit in their divisional playoff game with the Saints and left the game briefly after throwing an interception. That probably convinced him to reevaluate his future with the Arizona Cardinals.

”I have some ideas in my head, but you want to get away from the season for a minute and make sure what you’re feeling stays that way. But I don’t think it will be a long process,” Kurt Warner said.

Warner has missed only one regular season game in the last two seasons. He threw 26 touchdowns and 14 interceptions this year, and played a nearly-flawless wild-card game against the Packers, completing 29 of 33 passes with five touchdowns.

”It’s really going to come down to what I want to do moving forward, what’s the best thing for me,” he said.

It is easy to find reasons he would step away, even with one year and as much as $11 million left on his contract. Many athletes ”Favre it” and unretire because they fail to find comparable means to fill the void. Little can match the rush of an NFL stage. Warner is a different person, as anyone who has seen him grows giddy during discussions of his family and faith can attest.

Here are several things that could happen in the short term to sway the quarterback to return for another season.

FIRST, he wants to make sure his 38-year-old body still is running smooth. Warner said that his ”body actually feels pretty good, probably better than it felt over the last three years.”

Are the Colts destined to win Super Bowl XLIV?

Are the Colts destined to win Super Bowl XLIV?

To say that the Indianapolis Colts will have some sort of homecourt advantage in Super Bowl XLIV is a HUGE understatement. The New Orleans Saints may have the emotional drive going for them but when it comes to playing for the Super Bowl, in Miami, it seems you just can’t go wrong with the Colts.

And in case you didn’t get that, yes, the 16-2 Indianapolis Colts, who won their second AFC championship in four seasons, will play the 15-3 New Orleans Saints for the Super Bowl at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida.

Miami, of course, is old hat for the Colts. All four of their Super Bowl appearances, including their two wins, have taken place in South Florida. And it seems kinda’ strange that the Colts found a way to return to the Super Bowl to play the New Orleans Saints at the same time the league decided to return to Miami for the big game.

The Colts advanced to their fourth Super Bowl appearance in franchise history, their second of the Indianapolis era, by rallying from an 11-point first-half deficit against the New York Jets.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie breaking up?

Is Brangelina breaking up?

With all the hype surrounding Super Bowl XLIV this Sunday, BetUS.com wants all of you to bet on a couple of movie stars who are having some sort of ”love spat” if you will.

Of course, since most of you still fantasize about Angelina Jolie, those folks from BetUS.com know ya’ll will bet on these betting odds anyway since the Super Bowl is still more than a couple of days away and you don’t have anything else to do.

And in case you haven’t heard, there are rumors that claim Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are splitting up. Of course, we have no idea if the rumors are actually true are not but as far as Brangelina is concerned, the Hollywood couple were having dinner when the rumors broke out.

So where did the rumors come from? Apparently, it all began after Brad Pitt’s real estate purchase. Pitt bought a new house next door to the one he currently shares with Jolie and according to the rumors, the house Pitt bought is going to be a bachelor pad so he and Jolie can split up.

The rumors also claim that Pitt wanted to live next door so he can still be close enough to the kids.

However, according to TMZ.com, the house in question was actually bought back in August of last year, that means Pitt already bought the house waaay before any of the rumors about them splitting up came out. TMZ also explained that Pitt bought the house so he could expand the sprawling estate he and Angelina already own.

Will Brett Favre retire?

Heeere we go again.

In what has now become an annual tradition in the NFL, football fans will once again wait for Favre’s decision on whether he’ll walk away from football and retire or if he’ll give it another shot once we crown another champion at Super Bowl XLIV.

For the fourth straight year, (or fifth… probably…) Brett Favre will talk to his family and decide if giving it another go next season is ”the right thing to do.” But as of this writing, Favre says his return for another campaign is ”highly unlikely.” And in case you were wondering, yes, you heard that one from him before.

”Just wondering if I can hold up, especially after a day like today,” Favre said after throwing for 310 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions for the Minnesota Vikings last Sunday in their loss to the New Orleans Saints. ”Physically and mentally. That was pretty draining. I am going to go home, a couple of days and just talk it over with the family.”

In case you didn’t know, Brett Favre has been contemplating on retirement for years. Heck, the guy ALREADY RETIRED, TWICE, but decided to come back anyway. He came back to play for the New York Jets after his first retirement then retired again after missing the playoffs only to come back last August to play for the Minnesota Vikings.

With Favre once again at that time of the year, can we get an answer now?

”It’s still early. Way too early. Brett is liable to change his mind five, 10 times down the road,” Vikings wide receiver Bernard Berrian said. ”He already knows that we want him back. It’s more or less letting him go off and do his thing.”

Is the East better than the West in the NBA Today?

Is the East better than the West in the NBA today? We'll find out soon enough as the NBA All-Star Game picks up where the NFL leaves off.

And just like every other year in sports, the NBA will pick up the slack with a bang, kicking off the second half of the season with the 2010 NBA All-Star Game. Yes, it’s the East All-Stars going up against the West All-Stars once again as fans voted in who they feel are the five best players in each conference as All-Star starters.

Leading the East All-Stars this year is leading vote-getter LeBron James. The reigning league MVP got 2,549,693 votes this season, becoming the first player in balloting history to draw at least 2.5 million votes on three separate occasions.

James is making his sixth All-Star appearance and will start for the Eastern Conference for the sixth time in his career. Joining James in the East are Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics, the Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade and the Philadelphia 76ers’ Allen Iverson , the 2001 and 2005 All-Star Game MVP.

Among active players, Garnett’s 13th All-Star selection ranks second to Shaquille O’Neal who has 15. Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic will start at center.

As always, Kobe Bryant will lead the Western Conference All-Stars once again in Dallas, Texas for the 2010 NBA All-Star Game. Bryant is the second leading vote-getter behind LeBron James with 2,456,224 votes.

Bryant will be joined by the Phoenix Suns’ Steve Nash, the Denver Nuggets’ Carmelo Anthony and the San Antonio Spurs’ Tim Duncan, who is making his 12th appearance in the NBA’s midseason spectacle.

Tim Tebow will end up in Buffalo?

Well, that’s what one former Bills quarterback is saying anyway.

Since Jim Kelly retired, the Buffalo Bills have started nine different quarterbacks under center, all of them failing to put the Bills back to prominence.

The Bills’ lackluster play in the recently concluded 2009 NFL football season has made Buffalo’s lack of a good quarterback all the more apparent. And as far as Kelly is concerned, he has an idea on who can save this franchise and put ‘em back to title contention, Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow.

Yes, since the Bills have a legitimate shot at the overall No.1 draft pick, Jim Kelly says the Bills should take Tim Tebow since the guy is THE key to a return to greatness for this franchise.

What is the real reason why Dan Henderson left the UFC?

Easy. He hates Vitor Belfort.

Looks like we won’t get to play as Dan Henderson again in the coming UFC Undisputed 2010 eh? Yes, Hendo just inked a multi-fight deal with Strikeforce, leaving Dana White and the UFC for greener pastures.

But at 39 years old, how greener can these pastures still be for Dan Henderson? Really? As far as Henderson is concerned, it looks like he could care less, as long as he can stick it up to Dana White for giving Vitor Belfort a title shot.

Yes, apparently, that was the reason why Henderson left the UFC. After beating Michael Bisping to a bloody pulp in UFC 100, Henderson proved he is still one of the best fighters in the welterweight division. And yet, the UFC gave Vitor Belfort a title fight with welterweight champion Anderson Silva. That proved to be too much for Henderson’s ego to bear.

Did Nate Kaeding fixed the Chargers’ loss to the Jets?

If you haven’t figured it out yet, the San Diego Chargers (Remember ‘em? The ”hottest” team in the league two weeks ago?) was taken out of the 2010 NFL playoffs rather prematurely after Chargers kicker Nate Kaeding missed not one, not two, but THREE freakin’ field goals to allow the New York Jets to weasel their way to yet another playoff victory.

And you can bet your ass San Diego Chargers fans haven’t forgiven poor ol’ Nate yet. It turns out that those fans hate the guy so much that they even came up with these terrible internet jokes that even Eminem will find offensive. Wanna’ read some of ‘em?
