Andrew Bynum has been sidelined since tearing the medial collateral ligament in his right knee at the end of January after teammate Kobe Bryant fell on a missed layup attempt. Andrew Bynum, the Los Angeles Lakers center, would be transferring his efforts from the rehab machine onto the practice courts. If the unfortunate string of injuries would have stopped the Los Angeles Lakers should have a better NBA record now, as if it still is possible. Andrew Bynum would like to get back on the NBA hard court and says it would be possible that he does it in 2 weeks. The Los Angeles Lakers’ medical staff informed Andrew Bynum that his return to the NBA Basketball courts could still be as far as five weeks away.

Andrew Bynum confirmed that he has been running painlessly on the treadmill lately and that some movements are still to be reconditioned after the surgery.

“I’m very happy,” Andrew Bynum said “I think I’m ahead of schedule. I just keep hoping things will go the right way and I won’t have any setbacks. I’ll definitely be back this season.”

For the Basketball betting community this news posse as a great opportunity for all of us to once again bank our wagers on the Los Angeles Lakers, the return of Andrew Bynum along side Kobe Bryant and Pao Gasol are still one of the best starters in the NBA Regular Season this year. The Los Angeles Lakers a year ago already reached the NBA Finals without Andrew Bynum only to lose to the Boston Celtics. The Los Angeles Lakers are 16 – 4 without Andrew Bynum and the return of the young center gives something for the rest of the NBA Championship aspiring teams to think about.

For the defending Champions the Boston Celtics head coach Doc Rivers said that there was a high possibility for Kevin Garnett and Glen Davis to return to the NBA Courts as early as Friday when the Boston Celtics head to San Antonio, for a much needed win against the San Antonio Spurs.
