Did Reggie Miller pursue a Married Woman?

You read it, Reggie Miller actually likes to pursue married women.
Hard to believe? Believe it. Reggie Miller, arguably the greatest player ever to play for the Indiana Pacers now working as a TNT network NBA announcer, came this close from receiving a restraining order from a certain Alex von Furstenberg, a Malibu resident who owns a local surf shop.
It turns out that Reggie Miller was pursuing von Furstenberg’s fiancee. (We know this story is about Reggie Miller pursuing MARRIED women but since being a fiancee means you’ll be somebody else’s wife in the immediate future, I guess this one is still faithful to the article title…)
The ‘’soon to be married woman’’ Reggie Miller has a nasty boner for is Ali Kay, a fashion designer engaged to Alex von Furstenberg. Now if Miller pursued some other woman, then he’d probably get away with it since he’s probably the only dude as popular as Peyton Manning in Indianapolis. But since he got the hots for von Furstenberg’s fiancee, without a shadow of a doubt he’s messing with the wrong people.
Apparently, Alex von Furstenberg is not just your run of the mil surf shop owner, he’s the son of fashion legend Diane von Furstenberg and stepson of media mogul Barry Diller. Yup, that’s probably why news about Miller harassing a married woman came out even before the girl’s man got the chance to file a restraining order.
As any man would, von Furstenberg confronted Miller, he then claims that the former NBA star started to threaten him.
‘’He said he had friends with guns. He implied I would get hurt if I didn’t stop questioning him on his inappropriate pursuit of my fiancee and his attempts to subvert his efforts,’’ Alex von Furstenberg said.
Then, when both parties’ lawyers got into the mix, Furstenberg issued this statement.
‘’I was very upset about Reggie’s behavior towards my fiancee. I think people in Malibu share my views that being a famous basketball player should not provide some sort of shield against inappropriate behavior. Reggie sincerely apologized to me on a phone call with Ronald Richards, his attorney, and myself. I cannot comment further on the matter as I believe it has been resolved.’’
It turns out that Reggie Miller can still deliver on the clutch.
