Jason Williams is making a comeback

According to a reliable source Jason Williams the unpredictable point guard that was once a big time player in the NBA has sent a letter to the NBA to be reinstated to the NBA after calling it quits last year after signing with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Jason Williams was well known for his ball handling skills that awed the crown every night with the Sacramento Kings. They were also heavy contenders to dethrone the Shaquille O’Neal – Kobe Bryant tandem that won consecutive NBA Championships from 1999 – 2000 NBA Season to the 2002 – 2003 NBA Season. The Sacramento Kings consisted of Chris Webber (Retired), Vlade Divac (Retired), Peja Stojakovic who is now with the New Orleans Hornets and Jason Williams.

The NBA Board of Governors would have to approve the appeal of Jason Williams who could possibly be the missing link for most of the NBA Championship contenders in the 2010 NBA Finals.

Some rumors circling is that Jason Williams may go back to the Miami Heat to help their bid in the NBA Playoffs just like he did in their 2006 NBA Championship, or jump ship to the Boston Celtics who are the defending NBA Champions.

If ever Jason Williams makes it back to the NBA, the Los Angeles Clippers are going to have exclusive rights for the former superstar point guard yet would opt to buyout his contract to do further rebuilding.

Jason Williams signed with the Los Angeles Clippers last summer then retired before the start of the Los Angeles Clippers’ training camp. Jason Williams would need a unanimous vote from the NBA Board of Governors to waive a one year mandatory waiting period to return to the NB. NBA Teams have only until February 27 to cast a vote.

Jason Williams played 10 years in the NBA, including stints with the Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies and the Miami Heat. Jason Williams has averaged 11. 4 points per game and 6.3 assists per game for his NBA career. For the Basketball Betting Community, it would be best to wait what NBA Team would take Jason Williams or if he ever is accepted by the NBA Board of Governors. If this all goes through then we can rely on the lucky NBA Team to absorb Jason Williams into their lineup.
