Roy Williams would be in a bigger role for the Dallas Cowboys
March 25, 2009

After the Owner of the Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones, lifted the gag order on Dallas Cowboys head Coach Wade Phillips the unsuccessful coach has spoken about potential play makers for the franchise.
Roy Williams who was traded to the Dallas Cowboys last year for first, third and sixth round picks in the 2009 NFL Draft, Roy Williams was then signed to a new contract with the Dallas Cowboys up to the 2013 NFL Season. Roy Williams of the Dallas Cowboys has agreed to a 5 year, 45 million dollar contract.
Roy Williams was acquired in a NFL trade deadline deal with the Detroit Lions and had only 19 catches and one touchdown in 10 games the past NFL Regular Season for the Dallas Cowboys. However in this part of the NFL Offseason, Roy Williams and Tony Romo have already worked out together at the Dallas Cowboys’ Valley Ranch facility and things are sure gearing up pretty well. Head Coach Wade Phillips has also seen the potential in the wide receiver and can finally say that he would be one of the key factors entering the 2009 NFL Season.
“He (Williams) can help us, and I think he will once he gets in with the quarterback and the off-season and the regular season and preseason and all that,” Wade Phillips said “He’s got great talent and he works hard. He’s going to fit in well with our guys.”
For the NFL American Football Betting Community, this would prove to be great news as we all can benefit from this if ever Wade Phillips is correct on this one. Rumor has it that Roy Williams would be playing a bigger role this coming NFL Regular Season.
